Electroflux

2008, 8:50 minutes; 35mm; Color; Stereo, Dolby SR, DVD, BetaSP

Director and animator: Rose Bond

Music and sound design: Judith Gruber-Stitzer

The past comes knocking as an artist struggles with creative malaise. Transformed from a Platform Festival street installation to the movie screen, ElectroFlux offers a voyeuristic and personal glimpse into an animator’s process. Comedic, complex and cleverly attuned to time’s passage, Judith Gruber-Stitzer’s soundtrack ranges from contemplative to cacophonous.
